LUKE TAKES TITLE AT SOUTHERNS
U15 Athlete Luke Paulley took part in his first indoor competition on Sunday. He represented the Club at the SEAA Indoor Championships at Lee Valley running in the 1500m, and won the event by a 10 second margin. Not only did he take the title, his time of 4:57:60 is a new Club Record. Many congratulations!
KATIE ANNABEL AND KORBEN JOIN COUNTY TEAM
Katie Jones, Annabel Kalston and Korben Fenty were all selected to compete for Buckinghamshire in South East Regional Festival of Aviva’s Sportshall competitions held on 15 January in the U11 team. Annabel was in the Grand Prix and was ranked 16th, Katie was 8= in the Target Throw and Korben was ranked 8= in the Balance Test and 18th in the Standing Long Jump

Vale of Aylesbury’s Sophie Dickerson competed in a U13/U15 Open Meeting this weekend at Lee Valley on the Indoor Track.

The early morning frost had not yet thawed as the Juniors got their spikes on to compete on a stunning January morning in Slough this weekend. The course was fairly dry for once, but is mostly flat making it extremely fast.

MAKE THAT 5 GOLDS!!!
An update on the County Cross Country from Saturday, and apologies to Declan Hamblin. Declan received our 5th gold medal of the day as 1st Vet home in the men's race. He finished in 8th place behind Charlie May!
MEDALS FOR VALE AT COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS
This year’s County Cross Country Championships were held on the weekend at Cottesloe School in Wing. A beautiful start to the day disintegrated into clouds with cold strong winds making the uphill run to the finish line more unpleasant than usual. However our athletes fared very well.
