VALE YOUNGSTERS WIN COUNTY PLACES
Junior athletes took part in an Aviva Sportshall competition at Stoke Mandeville Stadium on 29 January, with the U13/U15 age groups hoping for a place in the County Team for the Regional Final on 12 February at Burgess Hill. U11/U13s were hoping for a place in the County Team at the Tom Pink Relays which are held at the NIA in Birmingham on 14 February.

INDOOR RECORDS FOR WILL AND ZOE
Will Gurton and Zoe Magnall competed in the London U20/Senior Indoor Games at Lee Valley last weekend, and both achieved new Club Records. Will ran the 800m in a time of 1.52.51 and Zoe threw 9.82m in the shot which is also a PB for her.

A storming run by Carolyn Boosey saw the 27-year-old take eighth place in the South of England Cross Country Championships in Stanmer Park, Brighton on January 28.

LUKE TAKES TITLE AT SOUTHERNS
U15 Athlete Luke Paulley took part in his first indoor competition on Sunday. He represented the Club at the SEAA Indoor Championships at Lee Valley running in the 1500m, and won the event by a 10 second margin. Not only did he take the title, his time of 4:57:60 is a new Club Record. Many congratulations!
KATIE ANNABEL AND KORBEN JOIN COUNTY TEAM
Katie Jones, Annabel Kalston and Korben Fenty were all selected to compete for Buckinghamshire in South East Regional Festival of Aviva’s Sportshall competitions held on 15 January in the U11 team. Annabel was in the Grand Prix and was ranked 16th, Katie was 8= in the Target Throw and Korben was ranked 8= in the Balance Test and 18th in the Standing Long Jump
