Waddesdon 5kI would just like to record my sincere appreciation to the National Trust, Lord Rothschild and his Estate Manager for again granting permission for the Vale to stage its annual 5K Road Race at Waddesdon Manor. The Vale also recognises the continued sponsorship of the event by the Winslow Accountants, Martin Nye & Co, and Apex Sports of Farnham Common. Finally, a big thank you to Mike Shrive and his officials, Roger Kirk and his marshalls & car parking stewards, Colin Steptoe and Nick Taylor for setting up the course, the local scouts who manned the drinks stations and the Red Cross who provided the first aid cover together with all the other members of the Vale who made contributions to again make the event a success.
