Waddesdon 5k 2011"In my capacity as the Race Director for the eighth Waddesdon Manor 5K Road Race held on 20 July 2011, I would like to formally thank The National Trust, Lord Rothschild and his Waddesdon Estate Management and Apex Sports for their continued support of this event. I would also like to thank Eddie Gutteridge (the Race Referee) and his officials, Roger Kirk and his team of marshalls and car parking stewards, Colin Steptoe (Course Manager), Steve Rooney (Entries), Steve Stokes (Results) and the British Red Cross (First Aid Cover) without whose support and assistance this race would not have been possible. The weather conditions were ideal for running with both the Men's and Women's Course Records being broken in respectively 15:23 and 17:52! 237 runners completed the race and 23 runners broke 18 minutes!!
