On October 4th, the club held its annual awards evening at Rivets Sports & Social Club.
We were delighted to welcome back pole vaulter and former Vale athlete, Nemiah Munir, as our guest speaker. Nemiah was a club member in her teenage years before she moved on to Wycombe Phoenix and now Thames Valley Harriers. Nemiah became British Indoor Champion earlier this year and she improved her personal best this year to 4.40m leading her to a top 100 world ranking and top 3 in Britain.
