It is a sponsored event to raise money for a local charity – the “Nic Willoughby Fund”. Please read on to learn more about Nic, who died at such a young age.

Nic Willoughby died suddenly in September 2018, aged just 22. His death was due to an undiagnosed and very rare heart condition. Nic was a much loved and highly thought of young man. The Nic Willoughby fund was quickly set up in partnership with the Heart of Bucks by his friends and family.

This is the 1st dedicated charity event since Nic passed 12 months ago. A Nic loved all sports this fund will give financial support to all grassroots sports in Buckinghamshire and the Oxfordshire border.

The fund will help improve and maintain many sports clubs. It will also support individuals looking to compete nationally or internationally in their specialist sport.

A sponsorship form will be handed out at training sessions, alternatively, you can download the form using the link at the top of this page. You can also donate online via the TotalGiving site.
