History of the Race

Thanks to the great help from the authorities at both Waddesdon Manor and the Waddesdon Estate, the club has been able to organise a variety of races within the grounds of the Manor and has also been able to support charities within the Waddesdon area. Following such events as road relays and the Race for Life, the club now organises a summer evening 5km race which starts and finishes at the front of the house. Since its conception in 2004, the race has grown and now attracts over 300 runners. Barry Cornelius took 1401 photos, some at 1K and the rest at 4K. The photos are available from: http://www.oxonraces.com/photos/2019-07-17-waddesdon. The photos are available for you to download (free of charge). If you put a photo somewhere public (including social media), please add the credit Photo by Barry Cornelius. Thanks.
