Sportshall Athletics County Trials – Round Up

Sportshall Athletics County Trials – Winslow (December 2022 – January 2023)

December and January saw athletes from VoAAC, Milton Keynes AC and South Bucks Schools take part in the u13/u15 and u11 Sportshall County Trials in Winslow.

The County Trials offer younger athletes the opportunity to compete against other athletes across Buckinghamshire and, if selected, to represent the county at the South East Regional Sportshall Championships on 26^th February 2023 in Sussex. Last year the Bucks u15 boys team, including three VoAAC athletes, got all the way to and won the National Finals!

A big thank you and well done to all our athletes who competed. There were some fantastic results across many events. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

Another huge thank you to all the coaches and parents who helped with officiating on each day! The events couldn’t have happened without you.

The standard of competition was particularly high across all three age groups this year and the county Team Manager had some difficult decisions to make during the selection process. We are really proud of all our athlete’s performances across the two dates, well done all of you!

Huge congratulations go to the following athletes who were selected for the county team and will be heading to Sussex in February.
