Last weekend the annual Winslow 10 took place through the streets of the small town and surrounding countryside. The event as always was well organised by The Lions Club as part of their fundraising activities and it was a great event for the Vale athletes who took part.

The first four spots all went to Vale athletes, along with two medals for fastest veterans. Charlie May was the overall race winner in a tie of 34:38 with Rob Taylor 2nd in 35:49; Rob also took the prize for 1st V40 to finish.  Paul Gregory was bronze medallist just 17 seconds behind Rob; he was also 1st V60.  Fourth spot went to James Davis in 36:45.

There were 262 finishers in total; well done to Vale runners who participated, especially to Pat Card who ran a season’s best time.
