Three Vale athletes have been in action across the country and abroad over the last couple of weeks.
- Firstly, on Saturday 15th October, Sophie Delderfield took to the streets of Portsmouth in the Great South Run. She came away with an excellent 14th place in the elite women’s race.
- Just over a week later, Tim Jones entered the Abingdon Marathon in challenging conditions. He ran well to clock 3hours 14mins 50secs to finish as 4th vet60.
- This weekend, on the other side of the world, Oz Ellis competed in the Powerman Malaysia Duathlon and finished in 8th place in the Elite category (4500 athletes took part overall).
- Earlier today (Sunday, Oct 30th), Peter Huck raced in the Frankfurt Marathon in Germany and ran a superb 2hours 25mins 9secs to finish 22nd overall in the elite men’s race!
