Charlie May won the 2016 Prestwood 10k in style last week in a time of 35:08, almost 2 minutes ahead of the second athlete. Vale took two prizes on the day with David Maisey finishing 4th overall, but first V40 to complete the course in a time of 37:21. Henry Edwardes-Evans finished in 13th spot in a time of 41:28.
The course was described as ‘undulating’ which the first 5k certainly was, and conditions were good for the event. This annual run which has now added a Children’s Fun Run, raises money for the Chiltern MS Centre and this year’s event raised a very respectable £5,200.
