SEAA Women’s 6-Stage Road Relays at Stantonbury, Milton Keynes – 24th March 2019
After a four-year absence, the SEAA Men’s 12-stage and Women’s 6-Stage Road Relays returned to Stantonbury, Milton Keynes on 24th March, with VoAAC entering a team into the Women’s 6-Stage Road Relays! The 6-stage Relays consisted of 4 x 5.05km and 2 x 7.66km legs.
Making her senior debut for the club was Tilly Green who ran superbly to start the team off with a 25th placing, next up was Sophie Delderfield with one of the long legs, she continued her recent good form and managed to make up a couple of places. The third leg, another short one, was run by Rosanna Iannone who had a good run to consolidate the team’s position. Leonie Glasson was up next with the second long leg, she handed over to her mum Mandie with Vicky Sheldon bringing it home, running the last leg. It was a fantastic effort by all and the VoAAC team finished in 22nd place!
