Lee Richards is having a great season which just keeps getting better.  He competed in the Oxford 5 star competition at the end of May where he won both the 100m and Long Jump which won him the 5 Star Award and the Georgina French Trophy for outstanding performance of the day.

On a horrible wet day, he came away from the County Schools Championships with two gold medals and two new pbs!  He won his 100m heat with a pb of 11.9 and then improved it in the final with a winning time of 11.7.  He also won the Long Jump with 5.41m jump.  He has since broken his 100m pb again with a performance of 11.6 at the YDL competition.

The hard work has all been worth it as Lee has secured his place for Buckinghamshire at the forthcoming English Schools Championships in Gateshead where he will compete in the 100m and the 4 x 100m relay.
