With a great cross country season behind him, Max Perry (U13) headed to Cardiff last weekend to take part in the British Cross Challenge.
The series takes in four cross country venues across the UK throughout the winter season and offers high quality and competitive cross country opportunities for athletes culminating with the series finale in Birmingham in March 2015. The Cross Challenge also gives up-and-coming athletes the opportunity to match themselves against established cross country stars with competitive fields catering for all age-groups.
Max ran a fantastic race in a strong field of over 70 athletes. He completed the 2.9k course in 10:40 finishing in 5th place. An excellent performance; well done! The next event is at Teardrop Lakes in Milton Keynes on 7 February.
