The opening round of the 2014-15 Grand Prix Season was on Saturday 29th November in the 50th Wolverton 5 Miles. In the men’s competition Martyn Summerfield was 1st home, 2nd V40 man in Bucks Short Course and took the 5 age graded bonus points with Alan Roberts 2nd taking 3 age graded bonus points. Martyn’s age graded time was his best ever performance at any distance!
In the women’s event Charlotte Steptoe was 1st and 2nd Senior Woman in Bucks Short Course Championship with Sharon Maisey 2nd, running a new PB and taking the 5 and 3 age graded bonus points respectively.
The next round is The Andy Reading 10k on Sunday 14th December.
